"That is one good thing about this world...there are always sure to be more springs." - Lucy Maud Montgomery
I am a verbose, empathic, spiritually-centered mother of three. I am a virtual administrative assistant with 13 years of experience and reasonable prices - if you need help with a document, PowerPoint presentation, customer service or database issues, look me up. I have been completely and totally addicted to the internet at times, and it's an ongoing and fluctuating love affair that I have accepted will never really end. At the moment, I spend a lot of time on MySpace - ironic because I love LJ and despise MySpace. LOL!
Here are some quotes that will help you understand the person you'll be reading about, if you decide to follow my journal...:
"The meaning of life is to find your gift, the purpose of life is to give it away." Joy J. Golliver
"This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness." The Dalai Lama
"If you want to build a ship, don't drum up people together to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea." Antoine de Saint-Exupery
"The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain." Kahlil Gibran
"Sometimes we must interfere. When human lives are endangered, when human dignity is in jeopardy, national borders and sensitivities become irrelevant. Whenever men or women are persecuted because of their race, religion, or political views, that place must - at that moment - become the center of the universe." Elie Wiesel (holocaust survivor)
"Think of all the beauty still left around us and be happy." Anne Frank
"A Native American elder once described his own inner struggles in this manner: Inside of me there are two dogs. One of the dogs is mean and evil. The other dog is good. The mean dog fights the good dog all the time." When asked which dog wins, he reflected for a moment and replied, 'The one I feed the most'." George Bernard Shaw
"We all may have come on different ships, but we’re in the same boat now." Martin Luther King. Jr.
